Rehabilitation -

Rehabilitation means reshaping lives and restoring lost abilities after surgery, illness or injury. It means treating the whole patient - physically, emotionally, and socially. In rehabilitation, the goal is to return patients to their optimum level of function and open the door to the highest quality of life possible.

At our facility, our comprehensive rehabilitation team provides individualized and goal-oriented treatment programs. Our focus is to help patients return home. Telephones and televisions are amenities provided on our newly remodeled Homeward Bound unit. Rooms are equipped with electric beds for the comfort of our patients. The "Homeward Bound" Medical Specialty Unit is for patients who have been in the hospital and need therapy and nursing services before returning home.

With an emphasis on rehabilitation, our staff provides innovative treatment approaches to assist patients in returning to their normal and viable lifestyle. Our rehabilitation professionals include occupational therapists, certified occupational Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Speech Language Pathologists. We work as a team to provide comprehensive therapy services in a professional environment.

All rehab staff members are graduates of accredited programs, have national credentials, and are licensed with the state. We work as a team to provide comprehensive therapy services in a professional environment.

Individualized treatment programs are designed to serve patients in a wide variety of clinical categories intergrating back into the community and home environment.
